Q: How does cantfindit know how many phrases there are up on Google?
Our technical department has developed an application to answer this question.
Without going into too much detail (since we'd like to keep this one under our hat!) we maintain a comprehensive database of all search phrases hitting our website, updating automatically every time we recieve traffic from any search engine. We use this system to help us when profiling our own website and customer websites for new/required search phrases - it reduces timescales for optimisation considerably.
